Business Lending Specialist

This role is pivotal in managing business lending activities and assessing credit risk exposure (individual and portfolio level) across MTF. You’ll analyse borrower profiles, manage a pipeline of lending applications, and provide insights and recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team.

As an experienced credit professional, you’ll apply strong analytical skills to drive sound credit decisions, ensure compliance, and support portfolio risk management. You’ll also engage with stakeholders and act as a collaborative champion for the business lending product.

Responsibilities

• Business Lending

Manage and support the growth of business lending, ensuring alignment with MTF credit policy, processes, strategic objectives and risk appetite. This includes active management and assessment of a business lending pipeline in collaboration with MTF originators and key stakeholders.

Support and mentor Credit Analysts by leading workshops for facility reviews, National Office level loan applications, and Credit Committee work items, ensuring the team are aligned and deliver outcomes as agreed.

Continuously monitor the health and performance of the credit portfolio, identifying early warning signals and potential default trends, in collaboration with Credit Analyst team.
