Intake Clinician For Child and Adolescent Mental Health Kāpiti Services

About the Role
In this dynamic role, you will provide triage / intake assessment for children, adolescents, and their families or caregivers. You’ll work collaboratively within a multi‑disciplinary team, contributing your expertise to ensure holistic and culturally responsive care.
Your role will also involve consultation and liaison with external services and agencies, helping to build strong, supportive networks around our young people. As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, you’ll contribute to both clinical and service development initiatives, bringing your insights and ideas to shape the future of our service.
Education and information‑sharing are also key elements of this position – you’ll provide guidance and support to external agencies, as well as empowering tamariki, rangatahi and their whanau with the knowledge they need to navigate their mental health journey.
About the Team / Service Location
Join our small, supportive Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service team based in sunny Kāpiti, where we pride ourselves on working closely with NGOs, schools, and the wider community to make a real difference for tamariki and rangatahi. Kapiti CAMHS utilises the Choice and Partnership Approach (CAPA) to provide efficient accessible services for tamariki, rangatahi, and their whanau.
