The Customer and Community (C&C) Group is focused on creating a well-connected, engaged, and thriving community by delivering a variety of essential services in a way that enhances social, cultural, and recreational aspects of Pōneke.
We aim to be a vibrant destination that connects with communities to inspire imagination and discovery. Our community centres and libraries work together to provide education, information, and recreational services through a network of seven community centres / spaces and twelve libraries. These centres are dynamic, flexible spaces designed to meet the diverse needs of their local communities.
We’re looking for a dedicated team member to join the northern network of Wellington City Council Libraries and Community Spaces. This grouping includes Newlands Community Centre, Churton Park Community Centre, Tawa Community Centre, Linden Community Centre, and Tawa and Johnsonville Libraries.
This full-time position is primarily based at the Linden Community Centre, with a regular schedule of Monday to Friday each week. This is a full-time fixed term opportunity to work through to 30th April 2026.

We are looking to appoint between $76,778 and $80,190 per annum, for this role, depending on relevant skills and experience.
