  • Full-time, fixed-term role until January
  • (40 hours per week)
  • Monday to Friday role with hours worked between 8am-5pm
  • Salary band between $75,201 and $78,358 per annum

    About the role

    This role plays an essential part in ensuring the successful provision of patient-centred care by fostering a welcoming environment for patients right from the get-go.

    This role is heavily involved with administrative processes for outpatients, and we're looking for someone who is 'on the ball' when it comes to ensuring that the necessary administration duties are absolutely spot on!

    The role also involves a significant amount of communication with other pivotal key members, including patients.

    Tasks include but are not limited to :

    • Making appointments (new and follow-up) for multiple Clinical services such as Endocrinology, Diabetes and Podiatry
    • Entering appointments into the computer system
    • Preparing referrals to send to clinicians for triaging
    • Receiving referrals back
    • Loading referrals onto waiting lists from which appointments for clinics and associated tests are made

      About you

      Excellent computer skills are essential and database experience using SIPICS and Health Connect South is preferred but full training will be given to the successful applicant to ensure that you are comfortable and confident with our systems.

    • Be a team player with very good communication skills
    • Demonstrate flexibility and understand the need for strong attention to detail
    • Be comfortable interacting with a variety of people and attending to issues that arise - usually at the same time
