Senior Full-Stack Developer (.NET & React) - Contract Opportunity - Auckland Hybrid

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Developer to join an exceptional development team on a contract basis, contributing immediately to high-impact, critical projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an expert in modern .NET and React who thrives in complex, high-volume environments.

Driving Technical Solutions

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with architecture and product teams to design, estimate, and build scalable, cloud-native applications. This full‑stack contract role emphasizes developing resilient backend services and seamlessly integrating them with the front‑end using React.

Design & Delivery : Lead the technical design and delivery of robust, scalable cloud solutions.
API Specialist : Develop and maintain high-performance APIs for enterprise‑level applications.
Cloud Focus : Utilise expertise in Azure serverless technologies to build and deploy solutions.

Key Requirements

Backend Mastery : Strong proficiency in .NET (.NET Core, ASP.NET, C#).

Front‑End Skills : Hands‑on commercial experience with React (or a similar modern JavaScript framework).

Cloud Architecture : Expertise in Azure serverless and cloud services (e.g., Azure Functions, App Services).

API Development : Proven mastery of API development and integration, including RESTful APIs and Web API.

DevOps : Experience with modern CI / CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and cloud deployment best practices.

Desirable Skills

Commercial experience implementing and consuming GraphQL (e.g., Apollo, Hot Chocolate).

Demonstrated experience in designing comprehensive full‑stack solutions (backend and frontend) or intricate microservices architectures.

Proven ability to work effectively on applications handling high transactional volumes.

Location & Engagement

Location : Auckland (Hybrid – required in the office 3 days).

Engagement : Contract.

Projects : Focus on large‑scale enterprise application modernisation.
