Overview

Join to apply for the HVAC Technician role at Green by Nature . We are in an exciting growth stage and are looking for an experienced and qualified HVAC Technician with an EST certification and experience to work on various building assets and delivering top-notch service and solutions. Based from our depot in West Auckland, you'll be part of an energetic team and this role involves tackling a mix of minor capital projects and maintenance work.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering top-notch mechanical and electrical HVAC services
  • Handling both planned and unscheduled maintenance tasks for electrical / mechanical HVAC assets
  • Conducting planned preventative maintenance to our contractual KPI's and prescribed standards
  • Support minor capex work and, as the team grows, project work

Note : primarily Monday to Friday with on-call responsibilities on a rotating roster. On-call duties are scheduled in advance and compensated accordingly.

What you need to be successful

  • Minimum EST certification; EWRB would be advantageous
  • New Zealand Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning – Trade (Level 4)
  • 3–5 years' experience, proven installation of split systems preferred; technical response and maintenance experience essential
  • Commitment to the highest health and safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently and unsupervised, while being a reliable team player
  • Demonstrated fault-finding and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proactive approach to work, taking the lead when needed
  • Full class 1 driver's licence; role involves driving between sites in the Rodney and Waitakere districts
