You will join our team of four dentists and three Dental Assistants.

Ko te tūranga mahi | About the role

Terms : Permanent

Hours : 32–40 hours per week

Based : Porirua

• Preparing and providing a safe clinical environment for clinical dental care, and supporting the dentist; and providing chairside assistance to the dentist and patient throughout the entire appointment
• Advocating, assisting and supporting whanau to access and engage with the dental service
• Following strict infection standards for dental practices at all times, including :

Hand washing

Well, after hearing about us and about the role, you’ll know whether you’re the right person, and whether now is the right time for you. Your high‑level experience and professional expertise as a Dental Assistant is a given, and you will be excited to engage and learn alongside Ngāti Toa. Of course, you’ll be well practiced with in office technology (Office 365), and experience with Exact dental software (or similar). You’ll have a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a passion for the health and wellbeing of patients.
