Pay rate : $28 – $33 per hour (depending on experience)

Relaxology Massage Takapuna has been operating successfully for over ten years on Hurstmere Road, Takapuna. We are a well-established and reputable clinic known locally for our professional, effective, and friendly massage services.

Our large base of regular clients relies on us for exceptional service and results. We specialise in relaxation massage, deep-tissue massage, aromatherapy, hot-stone massage, and injury-recovery assistance.

We take pride in maintaining high professional and hygiene standards and creating a supportive and positive working environment for all staff.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Massage Therapist to join our team. The successful applicant will have sound hands-on technique, good client communication, and a positive attitude. You will be responsible for delivering a range of massage treatments, ensuring client satisfaction, and supporting the smooth daily operation of the clinic.

This is a permanent, full-time position with guaranteed hours and pay in line with market rates.

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional massage therapy services including relaxation, deep tissue, aromatherapy, hot-stone, and sports massage.
Massage soft tissues of the body to assist healing, improve flexibility, and promote relaxation.
Conduct client consultations to identify needs, injuries, or health conditions before treatment.
Apply safe and appropriate massage techniques in accordance with company policy and industry standards.
Maintain accurate and confidential treatment notes and client records.
Employ techniques such as Thai stretching, Tui Na, or the use of essential oils to enhance recovery and relaxation when appropriate.
Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms and clinic facilities.
Handle bookings, payments, and general customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
Work collaboratively with other staff and follow management guidance and company procedures.
Perform any other reasonable tasks required for the smooth operation of the clinic.

Skills and Experience Required

Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a massage therapy or wellness clinic.

A recognised Massage Therapy qualification or certificate is preferred.

Good understanding of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Clean, professional presentation and customer-service focus.

Positive, reliable, and cooperative attitude.

Must be available to work weekends on a rostered basis.
