Job Description

We are seeking a casual Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our friendly team in Palmerston North.

Lumino The Palms is a family-oriented practice with highly experienced clinicians and support staff serving the Palmerston North community for over 20 years.

As a Dental Assistant, you will support our clinicians during various dental procedures, assist with instrument sterilisation, infection control, and stock management.

You will also occasionally assist at reception, so being personable is essential.

As a Receptionist, you will be the face and voice of our practice, helping patients with inquiries, managing appointment bookings, processing payments, handling banking, and performing administrative duties.

No two days are the same, and it's rewarding to see patients leave with a smile!

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Experience in sterilisation and / or customer service is advantageous.

Warm, positive attitude and team-oriented approach.

Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Computer skills and quick learner.

Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
