See our website for more information : are looking for 2 individuals to join our heavy transport assembly team and 2 individuals to join our heavy transport repairs team on sites located in Takanini, Auckland.These roles will actively participate in the manufacture and assembly or repairs of the various components and assemblies offered by the business to its wide variety of customers, ensuring that at all times company guidelines and procedures are adhered to.Ideal candidates will be mechanically minded individuals who can learn quickly, or have some experience in areas such as Cabinet Making, Carpentry, Coach Building, Sheet Metal Work, or similar hands-on trades.KEY CRITERIAAble to read, interpret and assemble from drawingsAble to demonstrate good daily organizational and planning skillsCommitment to producing a quality product or repair every timeGood communicator and team playerRESPONSIBILITIESComplete assembly and / or repairs of company products according to the documentation provided and / or the instructions given.Utilize time, materials and equipment effectively and efficiently.Assure the quality of work adheres to the standard operating procedures, work instructions and or relevant drawings.Ensure that safe work practices are maintained as required on our sites.Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard.Actively participate in the Action Manufacturing Health and Safety Program.LOCATION OF WORKFreighter NZ, Spartan Road, Takanini, Auckland : 2 Assembly roles / 1 Repairs roleFairfax, Great South Road, Takanini, Auckland : 1 Repairs roleHOURS OF WORK - 40 hours per weekMonday to Thursday : 7.00am to 4.30pmFriday : 7.00am to 11.00am (Friday afternoons off!)Join a diverse and welcoming team where people genuinely care about each other and the work we do.
