About the role
We have an exciting, permanent position for an experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator OR Senior Registered Nurse looking for that next step in their nursing career, to work across the fourth floor surgical wards including Surgical High Acuity Area (four beds) and the new Surgical Assessment Unit (SAU) (six beds and five chairs).
As a Night Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will :
Ward 4C is a 25-bed general surgical ward provides for both elective and acute surgical admissions, specialising in :
Ward 4A is a 24 bed General Surgery ward, with an additional four high acuity beds attached, specialising in :
Surgical Assessment Unit
Surgical Assessment Unit (SAU) provides Nurse led work up of surgical patients who meet the criteria for SAU admission, allowing an enhanced surgical patient journey by earlier access to diagnostic testing, and where indicated treatments such as IV hydration, antibiotics and pain relief.
This allows early diagnosis and treatment or safe discharge plans to be put in place.

Salary range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the Designated Senior Nurse Pay Scale Grade 1, between $114,025 and $121,444 pro-rata p.a dependent on relevant experience.
