Ruapotaka School is situated under the mighty Maungarei mountain between Glen Innes and Panmure.

We are a full multicultural primary school from new entrants to Y8.

We are a PB4L school.

We have a small friendly staff of 18 who are supportive, caring and collaborative.

We are looking for a teacher who is able to :

Build effective, warm and culturally responsive learning relationships with learners, their whanau and staff

Engage learners through relevant, innovative / digital, student-led programmes and has sound classroom management

Work collegially and collaboratively

Contribute to the schoolwide curriculum and extracurricular opportunities

Use effective formative assessment strategies to plan and deliver programmes that meet the needs of the learners

Open to learning.
