About the roleWe are seeking a talented Production and Process Engineer to join our Operations team.

In this role, you will : Transform the Business : Design and execute capital improvement projects that deliver measurable improvements in quality, cost, and production.Support Product Integration and Drive Continuous Improvement : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new products and product changes while identifying and executing opportunities to enhance productivity and manufacturing efficiency.Optimise Manufacturing Processes : Drive continuous improvements by designing and implement process flows, testing fixtures, and equipment to ensure robust quality control and operational excellence.Lead Root Cause Analysis : Investigate product quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.Enhance Health and Safety : Work with stakeholders to ensure compliance with health and safety best practices, including preparing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

This role is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our manufacturing operations and contribute to Allegion's continued success as a market leader.What you will bringQualifications : A Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical, process, or equivalent discipline.Experience : 3+ years of manufacturing experience with hands-on exposure to automation, workshop tools, and machines.Lean Expertise : Strong understanding and application of Lean and Six Sigma principles, including DMAIC methodology, value stream mapping, and statistical process control (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred).

Technical Proficiency : Advanced skills in SolidWorks CAD, MS Office (Excel, Word), and statistical software.Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to analyse problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions systematically.Health and Safety Knowledge : Thorough working knowledge of health and safety policy in a manufacturing environment.Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
