About the role

We’re looking for a reliable and safety-focused Overhead Crane Operator to join our Vulcan team on the night shift (Monday-Thursday, 10hr / day, 4pm-2.30am). In this role, you’ll operate overhead gantry cranes to safely move steel products, support warehouse operations, and ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and on time.

What you will do

  • Operate overhead gantry cranes safely and efficiently
  • Load, unload, and move steel products
  • Assist with general warehouse duties when required
  • Work as part of a small night-shift team to keep operations running smoothly
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

  • Overhead gantry crane operating experience (essential)
  • Forklift licence and operating experience (desirable)
  • Experience handling steel or similar heavy products (desirable)
  • Physically fit and able to lift regularly
  • Class 2 or higher driver’s licence (advantageous)
