There is a large programme of change work that is delivering to our simplification and modernisation goals for these platforms. As a Platform Architect you will be straddling both, ensuring that we limit and manage the technical debt that pragmatic tactical approaches required during transition, as well as ensuring we avoid re-created the “sins of the past” in our new estate. You will also be consulting with other Change Programmes that need to supply data to the Modern platform – some of which are also long running multi-year programmes like our Core Banking Ledger modernisation. You will have 10+ colleagues in the Architecture – Colleague and Data team. We are an open, friendly and opinionated bunch that work hard whilst maintaining a healthy sense of humour. We are a collection of high performing thought leaders where openness and collaboration are valued and expected. Our rituals include a weekly kick-off, team meetings and quarterly reviews and forward planning. My management style is built on empathy, openness, and a genuine commitment to empowering others. I strive to create a supportive environment where team members feel trusted and encouraged to contribute their best. Collaboration, innovation, and clear priorities are central to how I lead.I value open communication and constructive conversations, and work hard to foster strong partnerships.
