Locum Sonographer is required for our clients sonographer-owned ultrasound practice in Hamilton, New Zealand. Our client is seeking a locum for 2-4 months, however they will consider a 1 month minimum. Accommodation and travel support is provided. Please quote job reference :  1125548 About our Client, your new employer : You will be supporting a sonographer owned ultrasound clinic who pride themselves on their commitment to offering access to ultrasound services to all in the community. The owner of the clinic has been a sonographer for over 10 years and has worked in medical imaging for over 20 years. They provide a range of services; general ultrasound, musculoskeletal, vascular and obstetrics. They run to pre-booked appointments and they see a large number of repeat patients. The obstetric case load accounts for 80% of their work. A little about the role : Supported by their receptionist super stars and a team of 3 sonographers, you will be required for a locum contract ideally for 2 – 4 months, however they will consider a short locum duration of 1 month. Using Philips machines you will scan across general ultrasound, musculoskeletal, vascular and obstetrics. High level obstetric experience including nuchal accreditation will be highly regarded as their case load is 80% obs work. All of their work is remote reported. Should you require it, accommodation and travel support is on offer too. The practice is open Monday to Friday, however you can choose a 4 day week if you would like to ensure you get to take in as much of this great location as you can. Duties you will be responsible for :

• Perform ultrasound scans including general ultrasound, musculoskeletal, vascular and obstetrics
• Ensure that you are following the protocols and guidelines defined by the practice and your profession
• Ability to work in busy private practice setting where your work is remote reported
• Ability to work with Philips machines and COMRAD reporting.

Skills and Experience :

Ability to work independently and within a team in a private clinic environment.
