From pre-enrolment engagement, inductions and orientation through to graduation, you'll provide holistic support, connect students with external agencies and community networks – to create opportunities for them to thrive academically and personally.You'll also take the lead on events such as graduations, learner voice forums and social activities in helping to create a vibrant and a supportive student community.We have full and part time vacancies to support international and domestic learners at our New Lynn and Central CBD campuses.Be the welcoming face of NZSEG at the front desk, assisting students and visitors with queries and appointmentsEnsure all learners receive timely support, guidance, and encouragement on academic and pastoral mattersProvide efficient administrative support to the team, ensuring smooth operations and timely documentationCoordinate student inductions, workshops and facilitate engaging orientation sessionsBuild strong relationships with students, staff and external support networksRefer students to professional services when appropriate and involve support networks as neededReport on outcomes, analyze feedback, and work toward continuous improvementYou are a natural people's person and enjoy the thrill of supporting students.Fluency in English and an additional language is preferredExcellent relationship management, communication, and customer service skillsHigh level of patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity toward studentsExperience in student support roles in New Zealand within a PTE or another tertiary instituteTertiary qualifiedCompetency with Microsoft Office 365 and TeamsStrong organizational skills, adaptability, and attention to detailCommitment to confidentiality and non-judgemental supportFriendly and professional demeanor suited to a front desk environmentA collaborative and mature approach – and a sense of fun!
