This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the organisation, establish a robust team, and ensure that strategic change truly delivers measurable value with a people first approach.As the Programme Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering the target business operating model.

You'll be accountable for establishing governance frameworks, enabling agile delivery, and working closely with executive stakeholders to ensure alignment and momentum across the transformation portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesGovern a portfolio of complex change initiatives, ensuring measurable outcomes and delivering tangible business value.Champion agile delivery and project management practices, balancing speed with quality and rigour.Manage programme interdependencies, value tracking, and executive reporting within a strong governance framework.Serve as a trusted advisor to the Steerco, CTO, and senior leadership team.Foster a culture of learning, feedback, and iteration across all transformation initiatives.Engage business stakeholders to define and agree on the future-state operating model and ensure alignment with design principles.Oversee business readiness, stakeholder engagement, and adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.Ensure each initiative meets its target outcomes and benefits, including smooth handovers to BAU functions post-delivery.RequirementsProven experience leading enterprise-wide transformation programmes with a mix of operational and technology change.Strong track record of managing complex programme offices in agile environments.Deep knowledge of portfolio governance, business process design, and strategic planning.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills — from delivery teams to board-level leaders.Tech-savvy and experienced with tools such as Jira, or similar platforms.Demonstrated experience with benefits realisation and post-implementation tracking.DesirableExperience in business acquisitions, role change management, or enterprise system transitions.What's NextIf you're ready to take your delivery career to the next level in an environment that values your expertise and supports your development-apply now.Your next rewarding challenge awaits.Robert Walters endeavours to review all applications in a maximum of five working days.
