Job description

M2X seeks a Graduate Software Engineer to join their New Zealand team, contributing to AI-driven logistics software development in a collaborative environment.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing :

  • Collaborate with experienced developers to build and improve the logistics platform.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions and stand-ups.
  • Design, implement, test, and debug software components.
  • Support the development team in delivering solutions that solve real customer problems.
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.

About You

The company is looking for :

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or near completion).
  • Strong interest in software development and problem-solving.
  • Some experience (coursework, projects, internships) with programming languages such as TypeScript, Python, Java, or C++.
  • Preferred : Internship or personal project experience using cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
  • Preferred : Exposure to web development frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
  • Familiarity with Git, version control, and collaborative software workflows.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a commercial software environment.
  • Good communication skills and a team-player attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Passion for technology, logistics, and building useful software.

  • Gain hands-on experience in the full software development lifecycle—from ideation and development to testing and deployment.
  • Learn modern technologies and best practices.
  • Receive support and mentorship from experienced engineers.
