The Residential Life Coordinator is responsible for planning, organising, and coordinating events and initiatives that reflect cohort interests and promote belonging, diversity, wellbeing, and academic success. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with tauira, staff, and external partners.
  • A warm, approachable, and proactive presence that contributes positively to resident engagement and community development.
  • Sound judgement, resilience, and the ability to respond effectively to welfare concerns, behaviour issues, and emergency situations.
  • Experience working with young people, diverse communities, or within a community setting (desirable).
  • An understanding of Te Ao Māori and a commitment to working in a Tiriti‑led environment.
  • Massey offers

  • Up to 6.75% employer contribution to the UniSaver Superannuation Scheme.
  • Five university holidays per year in addition to annual leave.
  • Subsidised Southern Cross Healthcare plan for you and your whānau.
  • Special staff rates for campus gym membership.
