Carpenter

We are seeking 1-2 experienced and qualified Commercial Carpenters to join our supportive and high-performing Wanaka Build Team.

For the right candidate, this role offers the potential to develop into a Leading Hand position.You will take pride in producing high-quality work time after time, thrive in a team environment, able "think outside the box" and value a strong workplace culture where safety, quality and collaboration come first.If you are not currently based in Wanaka, please confirm your willingness and timeframe to relocate in your cover letter.Key DutiesDelivering a wide range of commercial carpentry tasks to a high standardWorking with trade partners and contributing to our inclusive, positive team cultureMaintaining quality levels across all worksWorking efficiently and keeping work areas tidyCommitting to a strong health and safety cultureYour day could include : Framing, hardware, insulations, joinery, siteworks, trims and finishing, windows and doors, erecting walls, building stairs, or precision tasks such as repairing furniture or installing cabinets, trim and molding.Experience and Skills RequiredNew Zealand Trade qualification in Carpentry3-5 years post-qualification commercial experience in New Zealand or AustraliaA proven track record of quality workmanship and customer satisfactionStrong teamwork skills and a positive, proactive attitudeAbout UsStarting from humble beginnings in Dunedin, Cook Brothers Construction has grown substantially over the last nineteen years.
