Senior Lecturer - Oncology (Wellington)

The role is a part-time (0.3 FTE), permanent position in the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
We seek an academic staff member to facilitate and deliver core teaching in the MBChB ALM program endorsed for Oncology.
The successful applicant will sub-convene the course, contribute to clinical teaching of medical students, supervise doctoral students where qualified, and participate in departmental and faculty examination duties.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
Medical registration.
PhD or equivalent research degree.
Expertise in clinical teaching.
Expertise in Oncology.
Commitment to research and a proven track record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of Te Tiriti O Waitangi and commitment to its principles in teaching and practice.
Research Expectations
Particular emphasis will be placed on the applicant's research track record and capacity to attract external research funding and student researchers.
Salary & Employment
Salary range : $148,416 to $184,993 per annum (pro-rata).
Employment type : Part-time (0.3 FTE).
