Job Summary
The Assistant supports daily operations in the crib, loading bays, and storage areas to ensure smooth material handling and delivery processes.
This role works closely with third-party logistics providers, internal customers, and inventory systems to resolve supply issues and maintain operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day activities in the crib, loading bays, and storage areas.Work with third-party logistics and warehouse providers to support team needs.Interface with internal customers to address supply issues or urgent machine downtime situations.Conduct cycle counts, analyze results, and prepare inventory reports.Maintain materials systems and virtual crib records.Support point-of-use delivery systems.Locate and process incoming deliveries.Provide shift coverage on short notice.Ensure compliance with company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Required Experience
3+ years in inventory management.Warehouse operations experience.Forklift operation experience.Customer service and inventory systems knowledge.
Required Education
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Required Skills
Inventory control and stock rotation.Forklift operation and safety compliance.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with virtual inventory systems.Point-of-use delivery support.Data entry and reporting accuracy.
Additional Skills
Ability to adapt to changing schedules and provide coverage.Team collaboration with logistics, warehouse, and internal customers.
