About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our Cardiology team as a Student / Trainee Cardiac Sonographer.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about cardiac care to train in the specialist field of echocardiography - using ultrasound technology to assess and diagnose heart conditions.

As a trainee, you will undergo a structured training programme that combines clinical experience, academic study, and supervised practice, with the goal of becoming a fully competent Cardiac Sonographer.

You will work alongside a supportive team of experienced cardiac Sonographers, consultants, and fellow trainees, learning to perform a range of echocardiographic procedures in a clinical setting.

Based primarily at Wellington Regional Hospital with outreach to nearby clinics, the service uses advanced imaging technology to deliver high-quality, patient-centred cardiac care.About you
