Medical Officer – Urgent Care – Auckland

An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced, patient-focused Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine Doctor who thrives in fast-paced settings, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering excellent care to patients of all ages.

This part-time role is available within an established Urgent Care Clinic in Auckland.

ABOUT THE ROLE A successful candidate should be an urgent care professional who demonstrates : Skills in managing a broad range of acute presentations, from minor injuries to urgent medical conditions; Confidence in performing procedures and minor trauma management; Empathy, adaptation, and calmness under pressure; Team player spirit and a willingness to join a multidisciplinary environment; Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS Current registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ); Legal right to work in New Zealand (visa support available); Current Medical Indemnity Insurance; Current ACLS certificate (Level 6 or equivalent); Excellent English communication and documentation skills; Familiarity with MedTech Evolution or similar systems (advantageous); Commitment to health equity, cultural safety, and understanding of Maori tikanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
