About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, energetic and compassionate Residential HouseManager to lead our home in Avonhead . This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide, support, and motivate a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.

You will embody Hawksbury’s values and lead by example — working alongside your team to support residents with personal cares, household tasks, and their overall health and wellbeing.

You’ll also promote the principles of EnablingGood Lives , ensuring each resident has the opportunity to actively participate in decisions about their life and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 18 support staff
• Oversee household finances and rosters
• Liaise with whānau, health professionals, and external providers
• Ensure residents' needs are met while supporting independence and choice
• Work a combination of morning and afternoon shifts (Monday–Friday), providing hands-on support and leadership across varying times
• Balance administrative duties with direct support work
