Key Responsibilities :

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging geography lessons aligned with the curriculum.
Teach key topics such as physical geography, human geography, maps, environment, climate, and sustainability.
Use maps, globes, GIS tools, and other resources to make lessons practical and interactive.
Encourage students to explore geographical issues and develop critical-thinking skills.

Student Support & Assessment

Monitor student progress through classwork, assignments, tests, and projects.

Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve.

Support diverse learning needs, adapting methods for students with varying abilities.

Promote curiosity, research skills, and respect for different cultures and environments.

Classroom & Resource Management

Maintain a safe, inclusive, and orderly learning environment.

Organize field trips, site visits, or outdoor activities to enhance real-world understanding.

Manage classroom equipment (e.g., globes, atlases, weather instruments, GIS software).

Professional & Administrative Tasks

Keep accurate records of attendance, grades, and reports.

Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events.

Collaborate with colleagues to integrate geography with other subjects (history, science, economics).

Stay updated on geographical research, technology, and educational best practices.

Contribute to developing curriculum materials and extra-curricular clubs (e.g., eco or geography club).
