Compliance Associate

Virtue Consulting – Auckland, North Island

Our client, a growing property investment firm, is looking for a Compliance Associate to support the ongoing development and execution of the company's risk and compliance framework. This role is ideal for someone detail‑oriented, curious, and passionate about doing things the right way.

Working closely with the Head of Risk & Compliance and collaborating across all business units, you’ll help ensure the company operates in line with regulatory expectations, supports effective governance, and maintains robust compliance processes that contribute to strong client outcomes.

The Role

• Support AML / CFT activities and assist with meeting regulatory obligations.
• Participate in the onboarding of new investors and borrowers, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and assist with internal and external audits.
• Help investigate and resolve compliance incidents, maintaining incident and complaints registers.
• Support complaint management, including escalation and root cause analysis.
• Help review and improve internal policies, procedures, and conduct frameworks.
• Assist in delivering compliance and risk training across the business.
• Support communication of regulatory changes and continuous process improvements.
