Store Manager

Ruya Kebab is an authentic Turkish restaurant in Porirua. We are open 7 days a week from 10 am to 8.30 pm. We have a capacity around 28 seating patrons, takeaways and deliveries on top of that. We are looking for a store manager to organise and coordinate all the administrative duties in our restaurant.

The applicant needs to perform the following tasks and will report back to the owners of the restaurant :

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the smooth running of the business in the restaurant, planning and organising special functions, taking reservations
• Budgeting and working with suppliers to ensure adequate levels of stock are maintained. Keeping documentation and records as needed for the preparation of accounts.
• ensuring store complies with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance and maintaining service standards
• conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with products and service
• marketing and social media management
• developing and implementing advertising and promotions to improve customer loyalty
• having oversight and control over the staff roster system and leave applications. Confirming and managing staff leave requests.
