Physiotherapist Hand Therapist

Fixed Term 0.6 FTE due to Parental Leave

Commencing ASAP through until approximately June 2026

About the Role

We are inviting an experienced Physiotherapist to join our friendly team delivering services across the South Canterbury District.

The person in this role provides safe and clinically effective assessment and intervention, either within a specific area or across a broad range of areas, with a focus on developing in-depth knowledge and skills following the second year of practice onwards.

Day-to-day, the physiotherapist in this role will work in outpatients within hand therapy.

About You

In addition to being a New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practising Certificate, successful candidates will have the following :

• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in hand therapy
• Good initiative and self-management skills
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, inter-professional team
• Right to work in New Zealand
• Hand therapy New Zealand registration or working towards this
