We're seeking a dedicated individual to join a healthcare organisation who are an inpatient rehabilitation service, supporting adults experiencing severe mental illness with complex and enduring needs.This is a temporary assignment starting early December for approximately 2–3 months, with the potential to extend.
Please note : availability to work through the Christmas and New Year period is essential.
About the Role
As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital part in ensuring our centre is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness that meets hospital-level expectations, while creating a pleasant, comfortable, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Provide full cleaning and upkeep of facilities to ensure safe, hygienic working and living spaces
Follow all procedures to reduce infection risks and comply with the service's Infection Control Programme
Identify maintenance or repair needs and respond appropriately
About You
Previous housekeeping experienceExperience working in a healthcare or similar environment (preferred)A full, clean NZ Driver's Licence, confident driving both manual and automatic cars / vansStrong communication skills and the ability to work well within a teamA proven ability to follow directions, show attention to detail, and complete tasks efficientlyInitiative, reliability, and a sense of responsibility
