Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Marketing and Recruitment to lead the strategic direction, management and growth of student recruitment, marketing and admissions activities for UC International College at the University of Canterbury. This includes the development of business relationships and opportunities domestically and internationally, and implementing admission and recruitment strategies to achieve agreed enrolment targets.

Key Responsibilities :

Student Recruitment and Marketing :

• Manage, lead and be responsible for achievingthe College's student recruitment targets – through effective and profitable recruitment strategies, market research, product development and the development and execution of a marketing plan activities, both onshore and offshore.
• Strategically liaise with, develop and maintain effective relationships with our university partner - the University of Canterbury, colleagues in Navitas, agents and other external clients.
• Lead and drive profitable sales and student marketing campaigns to strategically distinguish the College from competitors and deliver growth.
• Through effective leadership of the Student Recruitment team, develop strategy for promotional material, public relations and marketing communications within overall Group Marketing guidelines.
• Develop, define, and nurture key market segments in order to drive sales and new business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with the CollegeDirector and Principal to ensure effective overall management of the College / Campus.
• Closely monitor, evaluate, and report on campaign effectiveness and work closely with offshore Global Sales & Recruitment Teams to ensure campaign deliverables are accurately executed.
• Appraise existing sales performance and coordinate marketing and sales efforts to achieve maximum engagement and full use of resources at all levels.
• Prepare regular reports on expenditure and student recruitment numbers.
• Ensure compliance with the regulatory framework in which student recruitment and admissions operates.
