Lead learning and make a genuine impact in one of Northland's most welcoming school communities. This leadership role blends teaching, vision, and strong relational practice - all within a future-focused independent school of approx. 90 students from Primary through Secondary.

You'll teach (around 75%) while taking on meaningful leadership responsibilities (around 25%), giving you the chance to shape direction, support staff, and stay deeply connected to students and learning.

What you'll do :

• Lead and teach across Primary and Secondary, modelling high-quality practice
• Lead key areas such as pathways, curriculum planning, and student progress
• Coach and support staff to strengthen professional growth
• Drive school improvement, wellbeing, and culture initiatives
• Work closely within the leadership team on whole-school development

What you'll bring :

• Current NZ Teacher Registration + recognised teaching qualification
• Experience in middle / senior leadership (HOD, Year Lead, AP / DP)
• Successful teaching experience in a NZ context, including NCEA knowledge
• Strong communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills
• Integrity, optimism, and a genuine commitment to student success
