About the role | Ko te turanga mahiOur IT team is going through an exciting phase of growth, and we are looking for a Test & Release Manager to help shape how we deliver change safely with confidence and reliability.
You''ll lead the design and execution of testing and release processes across both agile and waterfall environments—bringing structure, clarity, and assurance to every deployment.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll guide a small team, work closely with delivery and product teams, and champion best practices in testing, release planning, and stakeholder engagement.You'll be responsible for : Leading and mentoring a team of test professionals and supporting project test workstreamsOwning and embedding test and release strategies across digital and core systemsPlanning and coordinating release cycles, including risk management and governanceHands on test prep, test execution, and defect trackingBuilding strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth deliveryAbout you | Ko wai koeYou're a natural organiser and communicator who thrives in fast-paced, change-driven environments.
You bring a structured approach to testing and release, but you're also adaptable—able to flex between methodologies and workstreams.
