We are excited to seek an experienced and innovative teacher to develop and lead our schoolwide literacy programme and English department.

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with staff across the school to enhance literacy and English outcomes for all learners.

This position includes teaching NCEA Levels 1 to 3, and the school will provide support for the successful applicant with leadership for responsibilities in literacy, English and ESOL departments, offering 2 permanent MUs and 1 fixed-term MU.

Zayed College for Girls is a small, special-character Islamic school catering for students from Y7–13.

As this is not a special-character tagged position, applications are welcome from teachers who are supportive of the school's special character and values.
