Job descriptionAnyone! You just need to be at least 18. Not just restaurant orders! We also partner with other retailers to offer speedy door-to-door delivery for local customers. We've partnered with top NZ merchants to bring you quality orders. That’s up to you! Part-time or extra time - you tell us when you’re available. That’s up to you too! We’ll only show you dashes for the areas you selected. You guessed it - also up to you! Car, e-bike, scooter, unicycle… whatever your wheels. We’ll get a few details from you so we can do a quick background check. We’ll get you to do a couple of onboarding sessions, such as an online food safety training. You’ll be able to download the Dasher app and tell us when and where you want to dash. You’ll need to hold NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa to be a Dasher. DoorDash drivers (Dashers) are independent contractors. That means you’ll need to sort out your own tax, but we help make it easy by giving you detailed breakdowns of your earnings. If you’re using a motor vehicle to dash, you’ll need a licence and your vehicle will need a current rego and WOF.
