Specialist Child Interviewer (Social Worker) - Manukau and Grafton based opportunities
Looking for a challenge and want to work in collaboration with our government and community partners? We are seeking applications from energetic, committed registered social workers who have either trained previously or wish to train as a specialist child interviewer.

This position will have primary responsibility for the specialist interviewing of Tamariki and Rangatahi throughout the Auckland area, working alongside Police child interviewers and with Oranga Tamariki kaimahi on sites. One role will be based at Manukau , co located with Police at the Multi Agency Centre (Te Pou Herenga Waka) , 627 Great South Road, and the other in Grafton Multi Agency Centre (Puāwaitahi), 99 Grafton Road.

The purpose of this role is to provide the following :
Other tasks such as presentation of site trainings and social work support will be involved with attention to maintaining of robust and helpful relationships with Police and other collaborating partners.
There will be travel at times and an expectation that all peer review and interview accreditation requirements will be met in the timeframes set out.
The interviewer will be supervised by the Clinical Services Team SCI supervisor.
