Van Dyck Fine Foods produce Pancakes / Pikelets, Blinis / Minis and Crepes. We pride ourselves on the quality of our product, baked on European Hotplate equipment using traditional Belgium Recipes.

We are looking for an energetic and well presented person to join oursales team in the Wellington area.

The current vacancy is for a part‑time sales rep in the Wellington area with a focus on growing Grocery & Food Service customers, you will also cover the Hawkes Bay and Manawatu areas bi‑monthly.

You will have the flexibility to choose your days / hours up to 20 hours per week, within regular business hours but this could grow with your input.

You’ll be responsible for increasing sales volume and ranging within your territory, working in partnership with your customers to grow their businesses and ours.

Qualifications & Requirements

• FMCG Sales or Foodservice sales experience
• Strong Customer Focus
• Proven ability in building productive relationships
• Effective management of a call cycle
• The ability to report on weekly activities
• A strong desire to exceed set KPIs.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team.
• Successful applicant will hold a Safe In‑store Food Handling Pass or be willing to get one and have a clean NZ driver’s license. Use of your own personal vehicle is a pre‑requisite of this job.
• Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa and be willing to undergo pre‑employment medical screening including drug and alcohol testing.
