We are seeking a Teaching Fellow to join the Faculty of Medicine at University of Otago, Wellington and also under a separate contract support the Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) at Te Whatu Ora Capital and Coast and Hutt Valley.
This is an exciting opportunity for a resident medical officer (PGY2 or above) to gain broad exposure to academic medicine through a unique shared appointment between Te Whatu Ora – Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley and the Faculty of Medicine, University of Otago, Wellington.
The role combines clinical trial support and medical student teaching.
This is a combined fixed-term, full-time (1.0 FTE) position for 12 months, located in Wellington. A 0.8 FTE position is negotiable for the right candidate. The position will be based in Wellington Regional Hospital, Hutt Hospital, and University of Otago, Wellington campus.

The salary range for the academic position is $98,583 to $120,528 per annum (pro rata) - the level of appointment will be based on skills and experience.
