We arelooking for an Butchery 2IC to join our team at PAK’nSAVE Clarence St

We are looking for an experienced Butchery2IC or Senior Butcher with outstanding leadership, organisational andplanning skills to help lead our high performing team and support the Butchery Managerin day-to-day operations of the meat department.

The Role :

  • Tuesday to Saturday,with negotiable start and finish times
  • Organise theconsistent offer of quality meats from Value packs to store made sausages andsmall goods.
  • Monitor inventory, assist with ordering, andhelp manage waste and shrinkage
  • Provide the team anawesome place to work, keeping them motivated, happy and healthy
  • Maintain high levels of product quality, foodsafety, hygiene, and stock control
  • Help create, drive and delivercustomer experiences worth driving past the competition for
  • Upholdmerchandising and display standards to drive sales and customer engagement

    • What arewe looking for :

  • Qualified Butcher with previous experience in a retailbutchery environment (senior butcher or team leader level)
  • Proven leadership, communication andorganisational skills
  • Positive, hands-on attitude and willingness tolead by example
  • Excellent Food Safety and Health & Safetystandards
  • Experience with small goods and value-addedproducts is an advantage
  • Must have the right to work in New Zealand
  • Familiarity with SAP is preferred (BuyersWorkbench transactions)
