Montessori-Inspired ECE teacher Christchurch – full-time.

Due to one of our valued teachers relocating overseas, Abacus Montessori is seeking a passionate and dedicated qualified and registered teacher to join our close-knit team for a full-time position.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a Montessori-inspired environment that values respectful, child-led practice and supports tamariki through their natural development.

We are a small, family-owned centre, deeply committed to providing a nurturing, peaceful, and thoughtfully prepared environment for our tamariki.

Essential Criteria

Values Montessori philosophy and a respectful, unhurried approach to care

Understands the importance of strong, authentic relationships with tamariki, whanau and the local community

Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and effective communication skills

Is committed to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice

Is collaborative, flexible and contributes positively to team culture

Holds provisional or full teacher registration

Has NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa (Living in New Zealand)
