About the Role

Due to ongoing growth in the region, Cook Brothers Construction is looking for a hands‑on Leading Hand to join our Queenstown branch. This is a leadership role for a skilled carpenter who takes pride in setting the standard on site, delivering high‑quality projects, and leading a team with energy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and support the Build Team on site, setting high standards for workmanship and efficiency.
• Work closely with Site Managers and Foremen to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and Trade Partners.
• Take a proactive, solution‑focused approach to identifying and mitigating risks on site.
• Act as a vital link between Trade Partners, Site Management, and the Build Team to ensure clear communication and smooth project delivery.
• Delegate tasks effectively and keep the team motivated and engaged throughout each project.
