Library and Council Services Assistant - Mahurangi East Library
The opportunity has arisen to work as a Libraries & Council Services Assistant in Mahurangi East Library. This will require you to be flexible as you may need to work from other sites within the Rodney local board area (Warkworth & Wellsford Libraries). Mahurangi East Library is an active community library serving a fast-growing community. Our library whānau is focused on caring for each other, our community, and our environment. We are looking for a flexible all-rounder to join and contribute as part of a high-achieving, cohesive, and dynamic team. You will be supporting the team and contributing to the day-to-day running of the library as well as building lasting and meaningful relationships with our customers.
Many of our libraries are open 7 days a week so flexibility around working days, including weekends and late nights, is required. We are looking to fill a part time position working 16 hours per week. Shifts below :

You will have strong people skills, a team player, flexible and adaptable to a library environment. You have a passion for customer service with a positive attitude towards serving people of all ages and backgrounds. You are eager to learn new skills and enjoy planning and engaging in programmes and activities.

The band for this role is Band E, we expect to appoint the successful candidate at a salary of from $65,000 – $70,000 depending on skillset and experience.
