• The Portfolio Risk team ensure that financial risks to the RBNZ's balance sheet are identified, measured, monitored and managed in line with the Bank's risk appetite.

It is critical that this is enabled by robust data, systems and functionality.

The team ensure that risks are communicated effectively measured, managed and understood, providing day-to-day support to portfolio managers and supporting oversight by senior management, Assets and Liabilities Committee and the Board.

The team also contribute to broader work, supporting the RBNZ's strategic objectives and effective management of its balance sheet.
