Transport Manager

Cargo Care Logistics is looking for competent transport manager to work in Auckland region, with basic requirements as follows :

1. You are required to have at least two years of relevant work experience, or NZQF qualification, and

2. Able to work at least 30 hours per week,

3. Be paid of hourly wage from $30-55 depending on your skills and / or work experience

Your main job tasks include :

• Coordinating with clients’ orders and bookings, warehouse, and distribution teams to align transport operations with business needs
• liaising with clients to determine requirements and providing customers with advice and information
• planning transport routes and schedules to optimise delivery times, vehicle utilisation, and driver workloads
• arranging collection and delivery of goods and maintaining their quality
• maintaining business records and preparing operational statements and reports
• managing the company’s vehicles, including registration, maintenance, repairs, and replacement planning
• overseeing fuel usage, servicing schedules, and vehicle downtime to reduce operational costs
• ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
