We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Fortified Homes Sales Consultant to join our team in Lincoln, Canterbury. This is a unique opportunity to sell more than just a house—you will be selling peace of mind, durability, and a commitment to superior craftsmanship. You will be a key driver of our growth, managing the full client journey and helping us achieve our sales goals.
About the Role
We're looking for someone passionate about building relationships, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and helping clients create their dream homes. This is a comprehensive retainer-plus-commission role that puts you in control of the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to project handover. You will be a trusted brand ambassador, representing the company at every step, and building lasting relationships with clients and industry partners.
Key Responsibilities :
Be a Show Home Expert : You\'ll be the face of our business, manning our show home from Wednesday to Sunday, 12 pm to 4 pm. You\'ll present the home effectively, highlight its key features, and capture lead information from visitors.
Manage the Full Sales Journey : You\'ll respond to inbound inquiries, qualify leads, and manage client relationships from initial contact to contract signing. You must be flexible with your time, as client meetings often need to be scheduled for after-hours or weekends to accommodate their availability.
Sell and Showcase Current Builds : You will promote and sell existing homes that are either under construction or already completed (spec homes). This includes arranging and conducting site visits, which may require occasional travel around the Canterbury region .
Create and Sell Opportunities : Proactively find or create attractive house and land packages for clients by liaising with real estate agents and developers in Canterbury.
Design & Quote Management : Work with our in-house design team to translate client ideas into feasible plans and prepare accurate, competitive quotes. You\'ll act as the client\'s advocate, helping manage expectations and adjusting plans to fit their budget.
Nurture Relationships : You\'ll build strategic partnerships with professionals in the industry and maintain a professional online presence to promote the business.
Ensure a Smooth Handover : Once a contract is signed, you will prepare a detailed handover brief to ensure a seamless transition for the client to our construction team.

Required Skills & Experience :
Proven experience in a sales role, with a strong understanding of the building or real estate industry.
A proactive and professional approach to lead generation and client management.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to following established processes.
Experience using a CRM system, preferably HubSpot.
