This is a unique opportunity to deliver the financial future of one of Aotearoa's fastest-growing regions.What you'll do / Ngaa mahi ka kawea e koe : Provide strategic financial leadership across the organisation as part of the Executive Leadership TeamLead our finance, procurement, and commercial teams to deliver robust planning, analysis and reportingDrive long-term financial strategy aligned with growth, sustainability and community wellbeingOversee financial stewardship of major programmes, assets and infrastructure investmentsEnsure sound risk, treasury and regulatory compliance across all finance functionsEnable data-led, transparent decision-making across all levels of the organisationBuild strong relationships with elected members, iwi partners, external advisors and community stakeholdersChampion continuous improvement, digital innovation and financial literacy across our organisationLead and support a high-performing team, embedding a culture of excellence, inclusion and accountabilityWhat you bring / Ngaa taonga kawea mai e koe : Proven success in senior finance leadership roles, ideally within complex public or community-focused organisationsExperience overseeing enterprise-level finance, procurement and planning functionsStrong understanding of public sector financial frameworks, accountability and complianceStrategic thinking with hands-on experience delivering financial and commercial outcomesAbility to influence at governance, executive and operational levelsCollaborative leadership style grounded in integrity, clarity and people development - help rebuild trust and confidence with our Elected Members through transparencyCommitment to te ao Maaori, with understanding of or willingness to learn tikanga and Te Tiriti o WaitangiA values-led approach that promotes transparency, wellbeing and public service impactCandidate pack - to applyApplications are now open for this impactful leadership opportunity.
