Compensation
$25–$40 / hour or $1,000 / week (contractor / freelancer)
- 5% lifetime commission on all revenue from your acquired clients

Role Description
Tourism Boost NZ is seeking a seasoned sales professional to be our very first Sales Liaison & Account Manager in Queenstown. This is a rare opportunity to play a foundational role in a new, AI-powered marketing agency dedicated to helping New Zealand’s tourism operators thrive.
As our “first in” hire for Queenstown, you’ll use your deep local connections and extensive sales experience to identify, engage, and win over our earliest clients—mainly small to mid-sized adventure tourism operators and accommodation providers. You’ll manage your own accounts, represent our Māori-inspired, values-driven brand, and help shape the way we serve clients and grow our reputation in the region.
This role is ideal for a middle-aged or semi-retired sales leader seeking meaningful, flexible work with the freedom to set your own hours and make a genuine impact on the future of NZ tourism.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, connect with, and convert prospective tourism operators and accommodation providers in Queenstown.Build and nurture long-term client relationships as their main point of contact.Represent Tourism Boost NZ at local industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.Present and sell a range of marketing services—from quick audits to full-scale partnerships.Gather client feedback and market insights to improve our offerings.Coordinate with the internal team to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.Submit weekly activity and results reports; join a regular check-in via Zoom or Google Meet.Must-Have Qualifications
At least 10 years of proven B2B sales experience (tourism, hospitality, or related industries strongly preferred).Deep, established network within Queenstown’s tourism sector.Outstanding relationship-building and communication skills (written and verbal).Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple client relationships independently.Comfortable with flexible, contractor-style work arrangements.Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and events.Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience selling marketing, digital, or SaaS services.Familiarity with Māori culture and a passion for values-driven, authentic storytelling.Prior success in launching or scaling new markets, products, or client portfolios.Comfort with digital tools and AI-driven marketing platforms (training provided).Desire to work in a small, collaborative, and ambitious team.What We Offer
