About the role
We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Consumer Services Coordinator to join our Care and Support team. This is a diverse and rewarding role where you’ll coordinate and deliver a range of consumer-facing programmes and resources that support people across their heart health journey. From national campaigns and printed resources to helpline services and personal storytelling, you’ll help ensure New Zealanders receive the support, information, and connection they need.
What you’ll be doing
- Coordinate the development and regular review of consumer resources (print and digital), ensuring content is current, accessible, and fit for purpose
- Support the delivery of programmes like Heart Line and the Facebook Support Group, working with frontline staff, managing key resources, and upholding quality standards
- Lead the Journey Stories programme, working with internal teams to collect and share powerful real-life experiences from people living with heart conditions
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in messaging, resource development, and campaign delivery
- Monitor programme performance, contribute to reporting, and support continuous improvement across consumer services
What you’ll bring to the role
A tertiary qualification in public health, health promotion, communications, or a related fieldExperience working in the health or social services sector (not-for-profit experience a bonus)Strong coordination and project delivery skillsConfidence delivering consumer-focused programmes and content across both print and digital platformsSolid understanding of digital tools like websites, social media, and online platformsExcellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to simplify complex informationStrong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple prioritiesProficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and online collaboration toolsA natural ability to build relationships with a range of peopleCultural awareness, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping people affected by heart diseaseWhat you’ll get in return
