About the Role

As a Bilingual Academic Advisor, you’ll be part of the engine driving Crimson’s growth in New Zealand. You’ll connect ambitious families with life‑changing opportunities, open doors to the world’s top universities, and help shape the leaders of tomorrow — all while generating revenue and growing Crimson’s impact in the Mandarin‑speaking community.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients.
  • Onboard new clients quickly and effectively to our Student Success team.
  • Upsell existing clients on new Crimson offerings.
  • Resolve issues and queries with speed and care.
  • Keep sharpening your sales techniques and stay ahead of industry trends.

Business Development

  • Work closely with Local Area and Digital Marketing to boost lead generation and expand our reach.
  • Represent Crimson at school talks, expos and seminars.
  • Identify and build partnerships with schools, organisations and communities.
  • Attend relevant industry events and feed insights back to the team.
  • Sales Administration

  • Keep accurate, up‑to‑date records in Crimson’s CRM.
  • Submit clear, timely sales reports for management.
  • Support onboarding and training of new sales team members when needed.
  • Work with Accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Share market insights with the global sales and marketing teams.
  • Suggest improvements to sales processes.
  • What Success Looks Like

  • You hit — and beat — your sales targets.
  • Families feel supported, informed and excited to begin their Crimson journey.
  • You’re generating new leads and expanding Crimson’s local presence.
  • You’re contributing insights that help shape our next phase of growth.
  • You’re growing fast — alongside some of the best minds in education.
  • Who We’re Looking For

  • A confident communicator, fluent in Mandarin and English.
  • A self‑motivated, driven team player.
  • Someone who loves building relationships and solving problems.
  • Prior sales, education or client‑facing experience is a plus, but your energy and ambition matter most.
  • Why work for Crimson?

  • Rapidly growing start‑up, with a flexible working environment where you will be empowered to structure how you work.
  • Limitless development and exposure – our internal promotions / role changes made up 33% of all recruitment last year.
  • $1000 individual training budget per year – we love to ‘Level Up’ (it’s one of our core values)!
  • Therapist on‑staff.
  • Insightful fireside chats and workshops to help support our high‑performing and ambitious team.
  • Radical Candor is a feedback approach we live by.
  • We’re a global player with 30 markets (and growing) across the globe. Most roles have the option to work from one of our many offices or remotely.
